WOW. Words cannot describe how excited and honored I am to have been chosen as a New Folk Regional Performer at the Ballad Tree at the 2014 Kerrville Folk Festival! Legends, and many of my musical idols have graced this festival, and it will be a joy to be part of it this year. Check out the website for ticket information, and I’ll keep everyone posted as I find out more news.

It was so exciting for me to be a part of Lesfire’s 9th episode! Click here to listen to my interview, with Brian Broussard sitting in and playing guitar with me. You’ll get to hear my rambling on all sorts of things like old and current country, Austin and Nashville, feeling like Ricky Bobby, pistol fingers, and my unruly laughter. Thank you so much to the wonderful folks at Lesfire for this opportunity, the cookies and Lone Star beer. They are true supporters of Austin music, and I can’t wait to hear all of their episodes to come!

Not too long ago, I had the absolute pleasure to record an interview with Lesfire.com. Get a sneak peak of the video here, listen to my original song, “Setting The Hills On Fire,” and find out how it was inspired by Brennen Leigh and Townes Van Zandt.

SXSW is literally right around the corner. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss this great show!
Sitting just outside of downtown, Buzz Mill is putting on this show for FREE, and even offering a place to park. Come hang out with us and catch as many of these awesome bands as you can. I go on at 2pm, and I’m going to hold it down with all of these talented guys.
I hope to see you there!

Have you started drinking whiskey… again?

Due to an overwhelming request for a re-print of my “I Started Drinking Whiskey Again” shirts, I have put together a group order form for all those who want to get their own!

You can access the form here or by clicking the image below. Simply enter the quantity and size you want before the closing date on Sunday, February 2nd. All shirts are $25* and payments will be made through PayPal. I will send you an invoice for the shirt as soon as I get your shirt request.

This will be your only (and last) chance to get this shirt, since I will be making new ones to sell at shows. So act quickly!

Your support and excitement means so much to me. I hope you enjoy your shirt(s)!

*I understand $25 might seem like a lot of money, but the price to produce these is high, since they’re printed on quality, 3/4 sleeve shirts. They’re thick and soft, too!
